Riddle Activity Center will be a comprehensive recreation and resiliency center in Southern Douglas County where community members will gather to improve their health, be active, have fun, and access essential services. The RAC will also serve as a premier, centrally located disaster and emergency response facility and will work closely with mission aligned partners to meet the current and future needs of our wonderful communities.

Athletic courts, fitness center, indoor walking track, outdoor event spaces, concessions stand, emergency & disaster response, community and cultural enrichment, meeting & event rooms, community kitchen, dining hall, community cafe, STEM events & programming, athletic tournaments, sporting events, childcare, pre-school, afterschool and summer programs, medical, dental and mental health care, community outreach and case management, local resource fairs, greenspace and environmental stewardship programs, workforce and economic development programs, services and resources for elderly, unhoused, impoverished, and underserved community members and more!

CHILDREN & YOUTH – Providing equitable access to quality, affordable childcare during and outside standard hours and being a safe, enriching place for youth and young adults to gather and play.

WORKFORCE & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – Working with community partners and businesses to provide pathways to stable careers, keeping our local business well-staffed with skilled employees, and equipping community members with tools to support their financial security.

LOCAL ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL SERVICES- Partnering with local organizations and agencies that help keep our community members safe, active, healthy, and housed.

COMMUNITY & CULTURE ENRICHMENT – Fostering a sense of belonging within our communities, promoting the arts, environmental stewardship, and preserving our region’s rich history and traditions.
